Beginner Permanent Makeup Training

If you’ve been thinking about starting a career in permanent makeup, my beginner training courses are designed to give you the best possible start. With over 23 years of experience in the beauty industry, 8 years specialising in permanent makeup and a strong background in art and design to degree level, I know exactly what it takes to not only master the technical skills but also to create work that looks beautifully natural and lasts.

I’ve also experienced poor training myself, which is why I’m so determined to change the industry for the better. My mission is to give beginners high-quality, in-depth training so that they leave feeling confident, supported and proud of the treatments they can deliver.

I offer four tailored beginner courses to suit different levels of learning:

2-Day Course: Brows or Lip Blush or Eyeliner Course  

(please note this is for those already machine trained in one area and wishing to add on a new treatment) 

In this focused 2-day course you’ll learn:

• Mapping for brows or lips or eyeliner

• Powder/ombre brow method or lip blush technique or eyeliner/lash enhancement

• Colour theory tailored to your chosen treatment

• Consultation skills and aftercare guidance

• Hands-on practice on live models

By the end of the 2 days, you’ll have the knowledge and confidence to start offering your chosen treatment to clients. 

3-Day Course: Beginners Powder Brow and Hair Strokes or Lip Blush or Eyeliner

Designed for absolute beginners who want to build a strong foundation and focus on one area either brows or eyeliner or lip blush. Across 3 days you’ll cover:

• Mapping and shaping techniques for brows or Eyeliner or lips

• Brow hair stroke and powder/ombre methods or lip blush techniques or eyeliner techniques

• Colour theory specific to brows or eyeliner or lips

• Consultation skills and aftercare guidance

• Hands-on practice on live models

By the end of the 3 days, you’ll be confident to start offering either brow or eyeliner or lip treatments professionally.

4-Day Course: Powder Brows/Hair Strokes & Lip Blush or Powder Brows/Hairstrokes & Eyeliner or Eyeliner & Lip Blush

This combined course is ideal if you want to learn 2 areas. What you will learn:

• Mapping and design

• In depth theory

• Client consultation and care

• Extended hands-on practice with live models

• Business guidance, marketing tips and setting up your PMU career

You’ll leave with a wider treatment offering, opening the door to a broader client base.

5-Day Course: Beginner Fundamentals Powder Brows, Lip Blush and Eyeliner/Lash Enhancement:

My most in-depth and comprehensive option, covering brows, lips, and eyeliner for those who want to master the full range of beginner PMU skills. Over 5 days, you’ll gain:

• Brow treatments: mapping, powder/ombre, and hairstroke techniques

• Lip blush application and advanced colour theory

• Eyeliner and lash enhancement techniques with safe application

• Full face design and balance for natural results

• Business guidance, marketing tips and setting up your PMU career

• Extended practical sessions with live models

By the end of this course, you’ll have the confidence, knowledge, and practical experience to launch your career as a permanent makeup artist with a full treatment menu.  This course gives you the strongest possible start, preparing you to confidently offer full-face permanent makeup treatments and build a successful business.
