What is Powder/Ombre brows?
Powder or Ombre brows uses a digital machine permanent makeup tattoo device, which allows soft pixels of colour to be layered onto the brows to create the perfect shape, which results in more of a ‘velvet’ soft eyebrow powder look. Powder/Ombre Brows gives the illusion of soft powdered Makeup. The colour can be layered to achieve a soft powder or Ombre brow or a bit more colour can be added for a more bold and striking Powder Brow. The brow shape and thickness will be mapped to suit you and your facial proportions and based on your preference. All semi permanent makeup and microblading treatments are bespoke.
How Long Does it Last?
Powder/Ombre brows typically last for 12 to 24 months. An annual colour boost is recommended to keep the brows looking fresh. Your brows will eventually fade away if you don’t continue with colour boosts. There is no scarring or discolouration with the pigments used, so you wouldn’t know if you left them to fade out.
Who is it suitable for?
Honestly, anyone and everyone! I love the powder brow result, I actually have this technique myself because I like the softly powdered result on my brows.
Does it Hurt?
It is genearally very comfortable with clients often falling asleep. Most people describe it as the sensation of twisting hairs or a scratchy sensation. On a scale of 1 -10 (10 being most painful) most of my clients put this at a 2/3.
