After lots and lots of research about microblading , I booked my mum in with Mel as she has never had eyebrows and it is always something she has been conscious of. I have been following Mel for a while on Instagram and admiring all the microblading she has been doing on her clients. I had a bad experience with microblading and swore I would never do it again until I plucked up the courage and spoke to her about it and eventually went for it. She was absolutely fantastic from the very beginning to the end. She spent a lot of time explaining the procedure and how they would look. I wanted very natural and I have got that. My left brow was quite short compared to my right but it's more or less there but ever the perfectionist Mel has said that she needs to do a little more work on it so that it is perfect, I'm very happy with them. I'd like to rate and review Melanie and my experience of my Microbladed eyebrows at Hybrid Semi Permanent Make Up. Being 100% clueless on what Microbalding is and what it entails, I came to Mel with the wish for pretty eyebrows that didn't need to be drawn on daily. Mel was patient and informative and listened to my fears reassuring me of the process and what techniques could be used on my eyebrows. She gave me all the options of what could work and pointed me in the directions of where to look for more inspiration. I understood that on the day she would 'work out' the correct shape for my face / eyes etc...but was apprehensive as this is my FIRST ever 'tattoo' in effect..... ON MY FACE!!!!! "What was I thinking!!" were my thoughts as I lay there hearing what can only be described as 'quiet pieces of velcro being gently opened.' I can assure you that you will probably think of THE WORST eyebrows imaginable whilst you lay there with your eyes shut. Mel warned me of each time it 'should sting' however as it was timed perfectly in the month (Salute to the ladies out there) both appointments felt completely pain free. (I'd definitely avoid 'lady time' so that you're not as sensitive.) Personally I think she brought in some magical fairies to do the job whilst my eyes were shut because waking up to hear myself say.... "OOOOOH....EYEBROWS ON FLEEEEEEEK!" Was the best feeling ever. The aftercare I received was ABSOLUTELY EXCEPTIONAL and I haven't received anything like it as a comparison. (As a business owner myself I can hand on heart say she has inspired me to also step my game up in looking after my clients too). Mel kindly 'checked in' each time I was stepping into a new 'healing stage' and sent me clear information on what to expect and how to care for my new brows. I honestly wish I could give this lady and whole microblading experience a 10 out of 5..... Thank You Mel!....One Very. VERY Happy Customer!

Mel has been doing beauty treatments for me for over 7 years. She is a perfectionist and always delivers exceptional results. Her pedicures have always lasted me well over a month. I had wanted to get microblading done for years but felt nervous about it. When Mel qualified in semi permanent makeup, I got booked in for microblading. Mel was diligent every step of the way, taking time to perfect the shape until I was happy and fully explaining the healing process so I understood the next stages. Personally I didn’t find it painful at all, which is a bonus. When I got home I couldn’t believe after years of pencilling in my brows that they looked so good without any makeup on. I have an underactive thyroid and as a result lost the outer third of my brows in my 20’s so for me Mel’s microblading has been life changing. I am no longer remotely conscious of my brows. Originally booked in for combination brows but at our consultation Mel, who is so lovely, advised that powder brows would be a better option for me. I am so happy with the results. Having suffered with thyroid issues, my eyebrows are near non existence. I’ve tried micro blading, which My skin rejected , pencilled them in and brow tattoo from a well known makeup brand. A daily ritual that was never quite right or never stayed the day. Mel was my last hope. The initial consultation, Mel was reassuring but also honest. It was worth a go but may not work. She offered me sound advice and truth. Having made me feel comfortable and seeing all the positive reviews and photos, I went for it. What can I say. Amazing results. Mel marked them up, checked I was happy and off she went, working her magic. Talking and checking all the way through with excellent pre and post care advice. She talked and showed me the healing process and what to expect. The result after the first procedure were eyebrows!! They were light, as expected as I had only had one treatment, but eyebrows none the less. Since the first treatment I’ve not pencilled them in and certainly haven’t needed the tattoo brow. I had my top up today and again Mel was brilliant. So pleased with everything so far and cannot recommend Mel highly enough.

Mel is an awesome PMU. I have to admit I was slightly terrified of ending up with an undesirable effect on my brows. But having looked at Mel’s previous work I was convinced she was the right person for me. I was nervous about going for semi permanent make up, but looking through Mel's previous work filled me with confidence as her portfolio is amazing! When I got there she took her time, explaining the process and taking into account everything I asked for. Mel is a perfectionist and I could tell it was just as important to her that my brows came out just as I'd hoped. I was comfortable throughout the appointment and Mel put me at ease. I was extremely pleased with the resultant shape and shade, and on my top up visit, Mel advised I have more powder brow as the microblading hadn't been as affective on my sensitive skin. She made sure they were perfect before I left and I am so so pleased with the result. Adding to the mix that she is a really lovely lady, it was a great experience. Thank you for a professional, friendly introduction to PMU, I wouldn't use anyone else and I will be back for some more!

Ombré powder brows with additional micro blading. I thoroughly recommend Mel: I had never had any semi-permanent make-up and was slightly apprehensive about having my eyebrows done but Mel’s warm professionalism soon relaxed me. Mel took a great deal of time and care to design with me the exact shape for my brows that I wanted and now, three months after my first and follow up sessions I am delighted with the results she has achieved. Literally every day, I look at my face and am so glad I did this, waking up with beautifully shaped, natural looking brows is fabulous!! Thank you 😊
